Similarly, LTS-F probes may be fitted with SIM cards of roaming partners in order to check the availability of services for inbound roaming subscribers. Conversely, LTS-F remote probes may be installed in foreign countries as well, loaded with domestic SIM cards in order to test outbound roaming.
Since LTS-F probes can be reached via mobile data calls, they need nothing more than a power line and coverage by a mobile network in order to be reached from anywhere in the world. |
